Adults feed on honeydew, nectar and pollen and will lay more eggs where insectary plants are present. Orders are sent as hatching eggs/larvae and they are supplied with a food source but shipments should be timed so they can be released upon arrival. Larvae will search your plants for prey for 2-3 weeks and then pupate into adults to start the cycle over. During warm summer weather egg to adult can happen in 30 days.
